Hi, my name’s Drew Mountney. In 2004 I founded Melfire Pty Ltd.

I started this business, aiming to achieve the highest quality work at the most competitive price on the market.

Because at Melfire, our standards are our promise, and we work hard to ensure we are the best.

How we work

We’re based in Melbourne, servicing the CBD, North West and inner suburbs. I’ve personally seen so many businesses focus squarely on their bottom line over the last 19 years. In doing that, these businesses have come and gone from the market; there are very few fire maintenance companies focusing on the maintenance component of the industry that has lasted as long as Melfire Pty Ltd.

As the director of Melfire, I am unique, as one of a handful of triple qualified, licensed and registered tradespersons in Australia. I have completed a full locksmith apprenticeship at NMIT, Full Electrical Apprenticeship at Victoria University and Sprinkler Fitting Apprenticeship at NSW Tafe. My commitment to the fire industry is second to no other owner or director of any other fire company; we can complete most repairs, maintenance and inspections in-house.

Our qualifications

MFE staff have relevant trade qualifications

MFE is fully licensed and registered with the VBA, ESV, Victoria Police, Titab and have industry associations with the NFIA

MFE staff have been trained by our partner suppliers for all fire equipment installed.
